My name is Sven
(my native language is german and so my english is not the best;
excuse for grammar mistakes, please)
and I want you to help me, because I think you can;
My Problem is as follows:
During the first boot from sda4 (root partition)
after installation with Penguin
on a Mac Quadra 610, gestalt id 53, 68LC040 Processor
occurs time after time the same problem:

......
INIT: Entering runlevel: 2
Starting system log daemon: syslogd klogd
Starting internet superserver: inetd.
INIT: Id "1" respawning too fast: disabled for 5 minutes
INIT: Id "1" respawning too fast: disabled for 5 minutes
#appears again and again;
#it does not boot further
#if the machine is resetted manually,
#appears:
....
....
/dev/sda4/ was not cleanly unmounted, check forced.
#and than:
/dev/sda4: ================================= x74%
Warning: ... fsck.ext2 for device /dev/sda4 excited with signal 11.92.0%
fsck failed. bla bla bla
#and
Give root password for maintenance
(or type Conrol-D for normal startup):
#so I
Mount –n –o remount,rw /
#after manually repair and reboot the same problem occurs again
#so I
Crtl-D
But the same problem occurs again
#I installed more than 7 or 8 times with different options,
#but any time with this same result.........
#huh??
#what is wrong; what is INIT: Id "1" ?
