Trying fileutils-4.1 on Linux 2.4.17 i586 unknown, libc-5.4.46 - `make check' after compilation gives failures in no-deref-link[1-3] and same-file.
- `cp -i -f' asks for confirmation before overwriting something, `mv -i -f' does not. Might be a matter of taste, but it seems inconsistent. - When copying a file or moving a file across file systems, and the destination FS does not have enough space, cp/mv leaves a partial file there. This might not be strictly a bug, but it's quite inconvenient since it fills up the FS completely, and it can (if not removed manually) easily mislead someone who later looks at the destination directory into thinking the complete file is there (even `file' won't notice the truncation in many cases).
