My hats off to Microsoft and Comaq for engeneering
this coup. Not. I wonder if I'm the only one.
I first discovered it when I was trying to mount my
floppy. I could not "ln -s /dev/fd0 /dev/floppy" and
then later mount would not work because it uses ln
somehow when making /etc/mtab~ a lock file. I have
had plenty of other problems which I'm sure are
related.
