Thanks for your suggestion, but that's what find is meant to do -- and
not what ls is meant to do!  The "UNIX way" is to have a tool specialize
in a simple function and connect to other tools that do their jobs well,
too, rather than try to have every (or even any) tool do everything all
in the same package.
