That's actually pretty good, but either you have to swap stuff out or not get more free RAM when you need it. If you've reserved all of that RAM for shared memory, then it's no wonder your copy will fail; you're working with some 30MB as a window. If you're going to do big data moves, you'll want a nice chunk of memory available. % % The only way to increase swap space now is creating swap files, isnīt ? Well, that's the easiest; reformatting your drive to stretch the swap partition can be inconvenient :-) % Do you know if this will be a good ideia ?
