Details:
This is a problem with 4.2.20 (it's not in the Release box on the bug report
form).
The solaris su doesn't support the -s flag. So when update db runs something
like "su -s /bin/sh -c command" it ends up just starting /bin/sh.
Not sure on the best fix - I guess some way of disabling this feature at
runtime? It's worth noting that the FreeBSD su also doesn't support this
behaviour. Is it a linux-only feature?
