Some fixes seem to have got lost when rel-4-2-fixes ws branched, e.g.

is still documented in ChangeLog but is missing in branch.
I simply know of this one because somebody reported a testsuite
failure with tcl8.3, and I found that this was supposed to be fixed
according to Changelog.
