Follow-up Comment #1, bug #20553 (project findutils): Additionally, as a result of the thread that sparked this bug report, Bruno Haible just introduce the --podir and --pobase options to gnulib-tool, which can be used to make gnulib drop all of its translatable strings in a separate directory than findutils/po, under the second domain findutils-gnulib. If we switch to his approach (which, admittedly, is still under development as I write this), then you would distribute two po directories, but the findutils-gnulib.pot file would be automatically translated by the gnulib TP, so you would only be responsible for maintaining findutils' specific files in POTFILES.in.
It will be worth tracking the bug-gnulib list for a while to see where Bruno's idea leads. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?20553> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/ _______________________________________________ Bug-findutils mailing list Bug-findutils@gnu.org http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/bug-findutils
