Follow-up Comment #3, bug #44078 (project findutils):
To reproduce this:
- Change to a directory where ${USER} in the following commands has no rights
to read.
- sudo -u "${USER}" find /tmp # Works as expected.
- sudo -u "${USER}" find /tmp -exec echo '{}' ';' # Does not.
Same with -execdir (tested) and maybe other actions (not tested).
Makes no sense for me, but I am presumbly mistaken...
