Follow-up Comment #3, bug #46670 (project findutils):
This does appear to be the same bug as reported in Gentoo, and it does appear
to be fixed by 4.5.15.
I'm not 100% sure because some things have changed in my system since I first
reported the bug. Today, I've only been able trigger it sometimes with 4.4.2.
But I never triggered it with 4.5.15.
I think you should just mark it closed as being fixed 4.5.x.
