Follow-up Comment #4, bug #63781 (project findutils): As documented, find(1) relies on the system's fnmatch(3) function, i.e., that in glibc. Of course, it's possible that there was a change in that area. I'm not aware of a change in that area in findutils between 4.6.0 and 4.8.0.
