You can just use -exec for cases where %p is sufficient:
-exec sh -c 'blabla $1 dflkjh $2 xxxxx; shift 2; bloop $@"
For other cases I'm not convinced that the additional complexity is
worthwhile. Mail bug-findutils if you would like to make your case in more
detail.
