Hi!

I'm having trouble with gdb on an ultrasparc running solaris 7.  It seems
to me that it's a 64-bit/32-bit issue, but I'm not entirely sure.  I've
searched for similar problems on the newsgroups, but no one seems to have
this issue.. others are running it ok on an ultra and solaris 7.. any
help is extremely appreciated!! :)

Info:
gdb 4.18, built with gcc 2.95.2, 
configured with the stock configure, no parameters.

system info:
SunOS jitter 5.7 Generic_106541-09 sun4u sparc SUNW,UltraSPARC-IIi-Engine

Here's the symptom:
