gdb core dump

I was using gdb and it core-dumped.  I have the core file if it would be
useful to you.  I am using version 4.17.0.11 with Linux support, and the
command that crashed was

        printf "%llx\n", path_so_far

Let me know if you want the core dump, or any more information.

Incidentally, I tried to reproduce this, and it didn't crash the second
time, so it must be affected by something I had done earlier.
