   Trying to compile gdb 5.0 on a sparc 2, running OpenBSD 2.6 with gcc

GDB doesn't support OpenBSD right now.  I don't know if the OpenBSD
folks have ported GDB.  If they have, you might want to convince them
to contribute their port back to the official FSF version.
