I issued the following commands.
$ df -k
/opt/gdb01 (/dev/vg00/lv_gdb01 ) : 179442 total allocated
Kb
46654 free allocated Kb
132788 used allocated Kb
74 % allocation used
$ bdf /opt/gdb01
Filesystem kbytes used avail %used Mounted on
/dev/vg00/lv_gdb01 199381 132788 46654 74% /opt/gdb01
Is space an issue? We don't use quotas according to our Unix guru Ray
Cushing.

That is a peculiar looking error, especially after version.c compiled
successfully. Maybe your disk is full or your quota is full?
