Hi, I'm interested in using GDB as the core component of a debugger for a high level language (call it HLL).
The HLL is translated into C++ and then compiled. I would like to be able to debug an HLL application at the HLL level and the C++ level. I would also like to be able to switch seamlessly between the two modes during a debugging session. Is what I'm suggesting feasible? Has anyone done something similar?
