Hi,
I've problems to report the following bug via the
gnatsweb -> gdb .
Login name 'guest' doesn't work (I've lost 2 times
my typing effort..)
So this is a 3th attempt to report this gdb
configuration bug :-( via e-mail .
Reporters e-mail:
Severity:
serious
Environment:
SunOS btm0gn 5.8 Generic_108528-15 sun4u sparc
SUNW,Ultra-5_10
Description:
./bfd/bfd.h is missing.
Configure
step:
btm0gn:/home/jvme/bin/gdb-5.3/build> /home/jvme/bin/gdb-5.3/gdb/configure --host=sparc-sun-solaris2.8 --prefix=/cmx_tools2/3EZ00321_gdb_Sol_2.8 --exec-prefix=/cmx_tools2/3EZ00321_gdb_Sol_2.8 make
step:
btm0gn:/home/jvme/bin/gdb-5.3/build> make make: *** No rule to make target `../bfd/bfd.h', needed by `gdb.o'. Stop. If I compare the 5.3 ./bfd dir with the 5.2.1 ./bfd
dir
then there are 3 files missing: - bfd-in3.h - bfd.h - config.h How-To-Repeat:
Unpack gdb-5.3.tar.gz, configure &
make
Fix:
I'll try to build gdb 5.3 with the gdb 5.2.1
bfd.h
Otherwise, I'll get bfd.h in the gdb CVS. Regards,
