I recently installed gdb/5.3 on an SGI IRIX 6.5 system. The
installation procedure invoked install-info to create a "configure"
entry in the info dir file. This command failed because autoconf had
already created a "configure" entry.
The two packages need to agree on what top level tags they are going to
use.
