Update of bug #32087 (project gettext): Status: None => Fixed Assigned to: None => haible Open/Closed: Open => Closed
_______________________________________________________ Follow-up Comment #1: Thank you for the report and patches. I was doubting whether the behaviour you describe is already present in the first (among many) Solaris 10 release. Apparently yes, according to the documentation: https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E19205-01/819-5264/afanb/index.html https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E18752_01/html/816-5137/compile-94611.html > 1. if the package is configured on Solaris 10 or later do not activate PTHREAD_IN_USE_DETECTION_HARD. Thank you. I took essentially your patch. > 2. if the package is configured and built on Solaris 9 or previous but run on Solaris 10 or later the test using the ephemeral thread is not necessary. Thank you. This patch is probably good as well, but less frequently useful: If someone upgrades from Solaris 9 to Solaris 10, he should have done it by now. Since it adds 20 lines of additional complexity, I prefer to get away without it. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?32087> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/
