For an initial description field like that:
<description>
<p>paragraph1
</p>
<p>paragraph2
</p>
</description>
The result file generated by msgfmt is like that:
<description>
<p>paragraph1
</p>
<p xml:lang="fr">para1</p>
<p>paragraph2
</p>
<p xml:lang="fr">para2</p>
</description>
But as described here:
https://www.freedesktop.org/software/appstream/docs/chap-CollectionData.html#tag-ct-description
description should be translated "as a whole".
