The obvious fix worked:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] /usr/src/uF
$ mkdir /usr/local/lib/gforth
[EMAIL PROTECTED] /usr/src/uF
$ ln -s /cygdrive/c/Program Files/gforth/ /usr/local/lib/gforth/0.6.2
[EMAIL PROTECTED] /usr/src/uF
$ gforth
Gforth 0.6.2, Copyright (C) 1995-2003 Free Software Foundation, Inc.
Gforth comes with ABSOLUTELY NO WARRANTY; for details type `license'
Type `bye' to exit
bye
