I have added a piece of code that detects symbolic link loop in a path to
GLOBAL-5.9.7
It becomes effective if you set an environment variable GTAGSTESTING.
$ export GTAGSTESTING= (in sh)
or
% setenv GTAGSTESTING (in csh)
