Hi,

Sorry, I could only return to this a bit yesterday.

I confirm overriding '--tag-relative' to 'no' fixes any problems with my
Universal Ctags' config files.

So the 'ctagsopt' and 'ctagsoptfile' patch can probably be dropped for now.

This bug indeed probably put up some users. It would have been easier to find
if Global produced some warnings when it considers that a line returned by
Universal Ctags is unexpected somehow (not the right format, unexpected file,
etc.), and especially if no line can be attributed to a given file at all. I
think this would be a worthwhile (and a priori cheap) improvement when someone
has time.

Thanks and regards.
