Hi, I am trying to install GMP 4.1 for the strong swan on a ubuntu platform Linux ubuntu 2.6.38-11-generic #48-Ubuntu SMP Fri Jul 29 19:05:14 UTC 2011 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux
downloaded the tar ball from the ftp site ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/gmp while doing make install I had multiple error messages complainingconflicting types: cfdiv_q_2exp.c:33:1: error: conflicting types for '__gmpz_cfdiv_q_2exp' cfdiv_q_2exp.c:29:13: note: previous declaration of '__gmpz_cfdiv_q_2exp' was here make[1]: *** [cfdiv_q_2exp.lo] Error 1 make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/virendran/Downloads/gmp-4.0/mpz' make: *** [install-recursive] Error 1 I have not listed all such errors but there were 5 instances, I had to comment out the "#define" for each cases to complete the process. Probably this is incorrect, but I am not aware at this stage how to proceed. Can you please give some inputs related to this.
