Since you are a new user, you have no saved preferences (except for
the memory size change). So I recommend you wipe out your
preferences, which will reset the memory change. See here for how to do it:

Also, beware of setting memory too high, especially on Windows 32-bit
systems, which seem to be unhappy with more than 1.5 GB.
