I am writing to express my sincere appreciation for GNU Backgammon. I have been playing Backgammon for more than 25 years. However, the popularity of Backgammon varies at certain times. I often have a problem locating a competent human opponent, so its terrific to play a match, whenever I want, with such a worthy competitor as GNU Backgammon. I am not of the computer generation so I think I have set it up to play at the highest level ( evaluation perameters such as "supernatural, expert" come up. I am probably winning close to 50 per cent of my seven point matches so my enthusiasm to continue improving is always increasing. I only wish that my rolls were as timely as GNU's, but that's what makes the challenge that much more interesting. Thanks, again for GNU Backgammon.
