So, is it possible to do rollouts of a checker play and/or cube decision and
save the results without doing anything in  the GUI? I'm confused, I
know I have never succeeded in doing it, but I also know that my question is
hardly original, and advice can be found on the web (e.g.
http://www.bkgm.com/rgb/rgb.cgi?view+1351) that goes like

"Do

hint
rollout =1 =2
export position text filename
"

and it actually seems to work for some. I have never found rollout info in
files created that way (although they do contain evaluation info). Could it be
a version issue? Any other thoughts on what might be wrong?

I thought the problem has to do with the rollout being started in
'hint' mode, and I tried to work around with the command "set
analysis chequerplay type rollout". But subsequent "analyse
move" will do evals, not rollouts, regardless. What is the former command
supposed to do?

Thank you,

Maik
