I just pulled latest CVS, built on my MAC. Made sure evals were set to 2
ply/2ply (even tried 0ply/0ply) and started money sessions with Tutor mode
on and Manual dice.

It believes that the normal 8/3 6/3 play is correct (even on 0 ply). I also
don't experience the problem

Is it possible your weights file is corrupt? Is it possible there is a
problem with the Settings/Evaluations (Make sure the plies are correct and
there is no noise)?? (Can you verify)

I tried the test with high die on right, and clicked on the top 8pt and it
moved correctly to the 3pt. Which is what you'd expect. This is likely do to
an option that is wrong. Go to Settings/Options..., click the "Dice" tab. I
am betting that you hav no checkmark in "Show higher die on left". If not,
check it and then try your test again. If I remove the checkmark I see the
behavior you describe.

Is this a windows build you built?
