I have committed a change and will appear in next release. Before
swapping players (if the player on ROLL appears on top) the user is
prompted whether they wish to swap or not. In non interactive mode the
default is to not swap.

Ultimately I will agree this is a hack to mask a bug that exists in
XG2's exported XGIDs that appear under diagrams that have been swapped.
