On the Windows version of gnubg, I recently started a long rollout of a cube decision in order to "View Statistics." At some point I decided to click on "Stop" rather than wait for the rollout to complete. The window said that it had completed 18408 trials for "gnubg owns 2-cube" and 18407 trials for "tchow owns 4-cube". When I clicked on "View Statistics," it said that "-2/18407 trials were truncated." Adding up all the numbers in the table yielded 18409. What exactly is going on here? How can -2 of 18407 trials be truncated?
I seem to remember now that the Windows version of gnubg will sometimes roll out more trials of one option than the other. Is that bug still in the code? Is the above bug related? Also, is there any way to copy the entire contents of the View Statistics window to the clipboard? Right now the only way I know how to save those statistics is to copy them down manually.
