I read your summary and it appears accurate. I think there was one small
typo. You wrote "For double, drop (0.615284) we get an equity of
+0.82039823777416349539". I believe you meant "For No Double (0.615284)
we get an equity of +0.82039823777416349539"

The key thing to note is that mwc2eq (implies match play) requires
information from the match equity table (as you have stated), so for
match play you must get some data from an external source beyond the
computed values in the SGF file. Of course if you are analysing a money
position this isn't an issue (since match equity tables don't apply to
money play).

On a side note, one other value that can be computed from the given
numbers is the equivalent money play equity (and is displayed at the
top). This value can be computed with this equation:

2*W-1+WG+WBG-LG-LBG

In his position that results in:

2*0.572881-1+0.222155+0.024300-0.139598-0.006174=0.246445 (Rounded to 0.246)
