gnubg-0.14.3 is quite antiquated (almost a decade old now I believe),
and today's compilers are probably more stringent. Where did you get
your 0.14.3 source code?

If you don't require such an old release I could suggest the latest
official source tall bar here:
http://files.gnubg.org/media/sources/gnubg-release-1.02.000-sources.tar.gz

This version is about a week old, and much preferred over the old.
