Hi Ad, Do you have the match file this came from?
When I paste that reference into gnubg I get a score of 2-0 in an unlimited match, no Jacoby, bottom player to roll or double. Is this not what you expected? Perhaps you are using Save As ... Position? This is not recommended: it literally saves only the position, with no match details. This is a very old and little-used feature of gnubg, and has caused trouble before. I recommend that you save the whole match, or at least the game. Developers, Is it possible to make Save As ... Position work as users expect? I.e. the whole position and match id are saved. If not, perhaps gnubg ought to offer a warning, or remove the feature. I put every few days a problem that I have encountered on the forum. I save a series of codes (eg. Position ID: 4NvgAyCw58IBMA Match ID: cAkAAAAAEAAE) and when I have a sufficient number of them I make a selection of which are worth posting. There have been quite a few which were not useful anymore, because when entering them in Gnu Backgammon (ctrl+v) the dicenumbers were changed. Maybe it has to do with Ubuntu. What do you mean by "codes"? How are you "reusing" the dice numbers? I like to add that I am using ubuntu.
