Hey,

You can find the instructions to build GnuBG on Ubuntu here:

http://gnubg.org/index.php?itemid=100

You will have to replace libreadline5-dev with libreadline-gplv2-dev (the
previous name is not in the repository), and install libcanberra-gtk-dev
additionally to make sound work.

Subject:[Bug-gnubg] Hi

I used to play with GNU backgammon and found it amazing for training purposes.
However since about 2 years it is not working on my computer (ubuntu).

Today I installed Ubuntu 14.10 hoping that it would work and it is still not
working.

I found in your website that there is an installer for Windows but for Linux I
only see the source code. I downloaded it but I dont know how to continue.

I would really appreciate your help, since I'd enjoy using your amazing
software again.

Thanks,

Carlos
