Howdy, The new 1.05.000 version of GNUbg has an optional (but highly used feature) that requires a new dependency. We have used random.org as a source of input to GNUbg. This broke at the beginning of the year when that site went to HTTPS over HTTP.
In order to support this feature going forward you need the libcurl dependency satisfied. On Debian it doesn't matter if it is GNUTLS or OpenSSL backend but you'll need libcurl3 rather than libcurl4 development packages installed. On most other non Debian distros it will be libcurl. When the configure process is complete you know you have support in config.h if you see this line: /* Defined if libcurl supports HTTPS */ #define LIBCURL_PROTOCOL_HTTPS 1 Without this the product will build without random.org support. You can tell if this feature is truly available by going to the settings menu, options, dice tab and select www.random.org . If you don't have the requisites installed for this feature you will get a pop up box saying so. Although this feature is optional, I do recommend adding the dependency to stay feature complete with your past builds.
