Can you provide a set odf steps to reliably reproduce the crash? I’ve tested toggling MWC on and off for a cube action hint and a chequer play hint. It works without crashing. I’m running Version GNU Backgammon 1.05.000-mingw 32-Bit 20150725 on Windows 7 Pro. Maybe it’s a problem specific to your build.
