I apologize profusely as this is technically a non-backgammon post. But no
doubt some of you will find it interesting, and anyway I am soliciting help
:)

I just uploaded a new project to github called royalur (
https://github.com/jheled/royalur). The documentation is at
https://jheled.github.io/royalur/.

It contains code for playing and analysing a 5000 years old board game, a
very ancient ancestor of BG.

What is unique about the game is that it is small enough to solve
completely, which I have. This enables perfect play and also allows
definite answers to some questions.

What I am soliciting is help in putting up a GUI. I put a primitive curses
version in the repository, but obviously we can do better :) The best would
be an android version, obviously, but I will love a GTK version as well.
Even if you are not interested, perhaps you know about someone who might
like this kind of challenge? A student? A young guy looking for a challenge?

Comments and Criticism welcome regardless.

Joseph
