Hi Robert,

I don’t think you can automatically get a hint. At one time the analysis would 
run automatically in the background, which would have accomplished much the 
same thing. However, this feature was dropped years ago.

The closest you can get is to enable Tutor mode. This will give you a message 
very time you make a mistake (configurable).

I’ve never tried setting the threshold to 0 or a negative value. This might 
make the tutor pop up after every play.
