In trying to use sprintf-posix in m4, I came across this:
cd .. && /bin/sh /home/eblake/m4-head/ltdl/config/missing --run autoconf
configure:25505: error: possibly undefined macro: gl_FUNC_LDEXPL_WORKS
If this token and others are legitimate, please use m4_pattern_allow.
