Let me rephrase: I don't want to ask Paul to do this, and I'd like to avoid the need to run gnulib-tool myself. Would you (or someone else on the Gnulib team) please kindly tell how to produce the effect of "--avoid=localtime" without actually running the script? IOW, what else is needed in addition to setting OMIT_GNULIB_MODULE_localtime=true in order to prevent redirection of localtime to rpl_localtime? TIA.
