Hi David,

thanks for your patch.  I added it - but while testing it, I noticed a few
more things to fix, so after a lot of testing I ended up implementing a
more complex behaviour.

As far as I can test by moving at the end/beginning of lines (typing
Control-e and Control-a in the default Emacs-like keybindings) and by
clicking before the start or past the end of lines with the mouse, it now
seems all to work nicely (first line, normal line, last line, line before
the last one, with or without newlines, line breaking being caused by
hypenation or by hardcoded newlines etc - in all cases).

If you are able to spot anything else which needs fixing, please let me
know (patches, as usual, particularly appreciated) :-)

I'd say that standard non-rich editing is very usable.
