Hi, appended is the logs.tar.gz from running the ./InstallGNUstep script at OpenBSD.
I have done the following: edited the script and changed the shebang from /bin/sh to /usr/local/bin/bash (the syntax of the openbsd sh is not perfectly compatible with the gnu bash, it is more a ksh, then some errors went away) due to prior warnings and errors I started the script with: CC=egcc MAKE=gmake ./InstallGNUstep which is a gcc-4.0-20050804 gobjc-4.0-20050804 gmake-3.80p1 then after checking my system, the only warning I get is that my objective-c lib is not up to date, but that this is not a problem because the script will install another one. prior to using the InstallGNUstep script, I tried to install every piece on its own: installing gnustep-make installing gnustep-base (which breaks) I used the packages linked from here: I have installed ffcall 1.9 from ports, and as it was not recognized, as explained here in the GNUstep root: http://gnustep.made-it.com/BuildGuide/index.html#FFCALL Sebastian
