Summary: Compiler warnings for GCC 4.1 Project: GNUstep Submitted by: tracy454 Submitted on: Saturday 10/21/2006 at 22:28 Category: Makefiles Severity: 3 - Normal Item Group: Bug Status: None Privacy: Public Assigned to: None Open/Closed: Open _______________________________________________________ Details: After upgrading to Suse 10.1, I now get hundreds of compiler warnings of the form: externs.m:31: warning: ‘_OBJC_INSTANCE_0’ defined but not used externs.m:32: warning: ‘_OBJC_INSTANCE_1’ defined but not used externs.m:33: warning: ‘_OBJC_INSTANCE_2’ defined but not used ... while compiling almost every file in GNUstep. The record seems to be AGSHtml.m with 283 warnings! Apparently harmless, since everything works as expected. Gcc 4.0 did not do this. Suse 10.1 (clean install) with gcc 4.1.0 _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?18080> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/ _______________________________________________ Bug-gnustep mailing list Bug-gnustep@gnu.org http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/bug-gnustep
