Follow-up Comment #1, bug #19100 (project gnustep): This seems more a window manager (or backend) issue than a gworkspace one. GWorkspace is only an application running together with other applications. It doesn't "gives its application focus" to anything... But we should investigate this problem better because it is true that many focus issues do exist. For example, I have problems switching between GNUstep application windows and xterm windows. I'm not sure but I think that these problems have appeared after some changes in -back, one or two months ago.
