Follow-up Comment #4, bug #25343 (project gnustep): I have had the problem before. Unfortunately I can't remember now how I solved it. It's definitely some Windows issue though, perhaps a bad path in /etc/fstab. Maybe you can install MinGW from scratch again. Sorry I've completely forgotten the fix...
