Follow-up Comment #3, bug #36976 (project gnustep): Please can you post your testcaseso I can look at it on OSX. The reason is ... it's not clear to me that there was a bug or that the fix is correct/complete ...
The fix Fred did was to change the -description method ... which is supposed to produce debug output. It certainly seems inconsistent with the -description implementation of other classes for NSXMLNode to include a newline, but it can't actually be a bug as such since there's no generally defined format for debug output. But, generally we treat it as a bug (ie something to be changed) if an object's -description method produces different output using GNUstep than it does on OSX ... so to know what we should be producing, we need to run the same code on OSX and see. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?36976> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/ _______________________________________________ Bug-gnustep mailing list Bug-gnustep@gnu.org https://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/bug-gnustep
