Follow-up Comment #1:
What you see is the normal GNUstep mechanism to determine the window
decoration offset as provided by the window manager. This needs to be computed
once per session and gets done for all 15 possible window styles.
If this mechanism fails for your window manager it may just be that it does
not provide any window decoration. Or if it does it does it in a way unknown
to GNUstep.
