You need to distinguish between the libtiff itself and the website. The 
libtiff.org website might be outdated and moved to a different place, but you 
will still need this library, from what ever place you should get it for your 
specific operating system.

The other question is what are you trying to achieve by installing GNUstep on 
MacOSX?
