Follow-up Comment #13, bug #44731 (project gnustep):
Sorry it was my fault.
My base is not patched.
But I ran GWorkspace directly from gworkspace/GWorkspace in the source tree
and it used my system installed FSNode instead of the new one.
It works as expected when I really install GWorkspace with
GNUSTEP_INSTALLATION_DOMAIN=USER. And my Desktop symlink is also protected.
I'm really sorry for this mistake.
